Hello! My name is Eva Ferraro Brown and I would like to start out by thanking you for taking interest in this amazing opportunity for your child! I am SO excited to be starting Tiny Acres Preschool. This will be a wonderful “hands on” program for our next generation. This year is going to be bursting full of new ways to learn and stimulating adventures! I was born and raised on the property of Tiny Acres and couldn’t think of a better place to build my dream. I am the fifth generation to live and work on this land! I am the second of FOUR kids. Luke is my older brother, Levi is my younger brother and my sister Emma is the baby. They are my best friends and I couldn’t ask for a better support system than my family.
I graduated from DeSales high school in 2001 and went on to Walla Walla Community College for two years. After graduating from there, I moved to Cheney Washington and finished my degree at Eastern Washington University. GO EAGLES! I majored in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Reading and a minor in Special Education. My passion for teaching started early on and I couldn’t wait to start the next chapter in life by molding young minds! My first job was as a long term substitute in preschool and I fell in love with that age group. In 2008 I began teaching first grade. During that time I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I wanted to do more with Early Learning in my community, so I joined the Blue Mountain Association of Education for Young Children (part of NAEYC). I served as secretary for 8 years until the affiliate chapter closed. But, preschool has had my heart since the beginning! After getting married to my amazing husband Terry, I realized that it was time to pursue my true passion. With his help and motivation (he is a contractor) he helped me build my own Early Childhood Program. Voila! Tiny Acres Preschool was born! I am so excited to start this venture and get the opportunity to share my new way of teaching!
